Inoue Today is a blog and newsletter by Adam Inoue on rationality, technology, crypto-economics and sometimes some politics. If you can’t figure out how to pronounce my name, consider that “Inoue” slant-rhymes with “Today,” don’t worry too much about it and go with my blessing.
I spend a lot of time thinking about how to make software teams work better. I had an unconventional, self-taught start to my career (thanks largely to my father and brother, also software engineers, who I learned from by inertia over the years) and like to take deep dives into what’s going on around me in my professional work.
I’m deeply engaged with the world of cryptocurrency, and I believe crypto-economics is the greatest frontier of economics: it’s a fascinating place full of abstractions where economic theory is most strongly applicable. I also write on topics of interest to rationalists in an ongoing effort to be less wrong, as it were. Occasionally I’ll discuss politics or current events.
This site is for people who are interested in novel opinions about interpreting the world, keeping up with current events in technology, and reading musings on other topics from time to time.
